Between the time I am writing this to the time you are reading this, more things are going to happen.
It’s terrifying. It’s overwhelming.
But we’ll get through this the same way we’ve gotten through every thing, every single time before: together.
We can choose to meet the moment.
As a therapist and as a human, I want to do something.
If you’re already familiar with my work, you might already know that the amount of things I can do is limited by a rat’s nest of complex neurological illnesses. Still, I don’t want to do nothing.
I’m able to be a therapist. I’m able to provide support online to people who need it.
That doesn’t fix everything, but it’s a start.

I’m introducing Vered Counseling Therapy Scholarships.
12 sessions at a rate of $50 per session. (Regular price is $175 per session).
You can use some or all of your sessions at the $50 per session rate, then the next person can take your spot.
While small, this is a step towards making the world the kind of place we want it to be.

Who do you work with/where are you located?
Vered Counseling is an online-only practice that operates within Texas and North Carolina.
We specialize in working with teens and young adults, and their families.
We’ve been working with youth for over a decade. We work with broad issues like trauma and anxiety, as well as specialized issues including neurodiversity, transgender issues, chronic illnesses, and ARFID.
Why not just take insurance instead?
I’m tired of insurance not paying.
$50 per session still seems like a lot.
I get it! If $50 per session is still out of your price range, please let us know. Depending on the responses we get, we might be able to offer even lower-cost group sessions.
Is income verification needed?
No. If you say you could use some help paying for therapy, then we take you at your word. (I always say, if someone is scamming their therapist, then they really need that therapy).
There is a limited number of Therapy Scholarship slots open at any one time, but there are no eligibility requirements to meet.
